NORAH is a collection of stories based on the encounters and connections with “NORAH” people who live freely, humanely and in harmony with the rhythm of nature. It explores the wisdom of farmers who practice “sunshine and rain reading”, through to the voices of those who meet at markets where producers and eaters meet. The magazine features ideas of people who are not only farmers, but also people who run small businesses in the city. NORAH is published and edited by the staff of the Farmers Market @ UNU, which takes place every Saturday and Sunday at the United Nations University Plaza in Aoyama, Tokyo. NORAH is not only the name of the magazine, but also one of the important themes of the market, which aims to be a community of farmers, cooks, craftsmen and city dwellers. A total of six issues have been published.
